Dustin's been gone for a week tomorrow now. I really shouldn't complain, but I sure am getting lonely! I don't understand how women raise a child (or more), work full time, and keep their house up. I am having trouble keeping up with it all! So thankful for my husband and the relationship we have :).
So here's what Dietrich and I have been doing since Daddy's been gone:
Sunday--Went to the park (Dietrich loves to swing)
Monday--Had Dean, cleaned the house (had to take pic of this end table bc Daddy didn't believe it was cleaned up, did all the laundry, got gas, and went to Ignite (Bible Study), got Dietrich in bed, and had to meet online for a Webinar.

Tuesday-- Dietrich had a surprise for me in the 2 minutes I went to get dressed this morning. I had kleenex all over the living room floor.
Pay day, so we ordered Chinese food
And then we read a bit. Dietrich is in love with books. I'm not sure if it's the books per se, but he wants to sit on our laps and hear us talking to him. He will even sit like this and babble because he knows words are in books.
Wednesday--Nothing in particular, but I had to take this pic to show Dustin. Our neighbors... ugh. It seems like every month or so Terminix is there... I'll let you figure out why. But this time the guy had a brush swabbing the outside of the house?!?! Freaks me out a bit!
Dietrich likes to climb on things.... think he needs help here? Nah, I let him figure it out on his own!
Thursday--Went to Target and Staples... this little man HAS to pick everything up to show how strong he is. Oh and if there is anything sticky around, it goes on his forehead.
Begged me to take a bath. He stayed in that bath for 45 minutes!
Friday--Nothing in particular. I tried my hand at making my own taco seasoning instead of using the packets. Yum-o! Never buying a taco packet again!

He's cool with the bucket on his head. Walks around like this and he was barking!
Saturday--Shopped til we dropped from 9:30am -2:30 in the afternoon! We started in Greenwood at Buy Buy Baby because I had coupons, went to Keystone at the Crossing to go to Barbaras (WAS THERE FOR 1 1/2 HOURS... Uh Hello, Ft Wayne has it down, that's for sure), ate at Champps, then went to the PX and Commissary, and finally home. No naps, no fussing until almost bed time. Couldn't stand it any longer by 7:30 so he went to bed.
Sunday--(tomorrow) we're going to Sarah's to have a personal chef cook for us. Hopefully we get up in time for early church so Dietrich can come back and take a quick nap before we head to Whitestown.
Cannot wait for Dustin to come back home. It's very lonely and quiet around the house. Dietrich and I just know our family isn't complete since Daddy's gone for now.
