It's Monday and we wake up getting everything prepared to go on our trip to McChord AFB and then on to Travis AFB which where we'd get a flight to Hickam AFB in Hawaii. Come to find out our plane was not available and there wasn't another coming until Wednesday. So we decided to stay in the
Drury hotel in St. Louis to venture out and see a bit of the town. We loved the Drury because it provided breakfast and supper saving us a few pennies.
